Mental Health Awareness Week runs from Monday 12 to Sunday 18 May 2025, with the theme 'Community' and it is so important we create spaces that brings people together.

We all know life can be challenging at times. And for people who need mental health support, there can be added complications.
That can be tough to navigate and that’s why we, at CREST WF, created ‘THE SNUG’
The Snug is an inclusive, safe, welcoming, and non-judgemental community for those experiencing a range of Mental Health challenges.
Whether you're living with a long-term condition or facing a sudden crisis, we’re here for each other to navigate tough times together, explore creativity through art, take part in meaningful discussions, and nurture wellbeing through exercise, yoga, and breathwork.
Or simply, to have a calm space to just be. We’re here. Because that’s what a community does best.
So, if you live in the borough of Waltham Forest and need help or support with mental health difficulties, feel free to reach out to us at: linda.mccairns@crestwf.org.uk.
Or, if you’d like to support our community through funding or services in kind, please contact us at: chris.osullivan@crestwf.org.uk.
The Snug 4 Greenleaf Rd Walthamstow E17 6QQ is free to join and is currently open on Wednesdays and Fridays.
