Life after Cancer runs free monthly meet-ups in Waltham Forest for adults who’ve finished cancer treatment and want to feel connected and supported.

Free monthly meet-ups in Waltham Forest

Each month there’s a relaxed indoor session at one of the local libraries in Waltham Forest and a guided walk at Walthamstow Wetlands. Both offer gentle ways to meet others who understand life after treatment, led by coaches with lived experience of cancer.

There’s no pressure to talk, and you’re welcome to bring a relative or friend. These are friendly, welcoming spaces where you can be yourself, whether you’re new or part of our community, and whether you finished treatment yesterday or 10 years ago.

The aim is simple, to help people feel less alone and part of a local community that understands the challenges of adjusting to life after treatment.

For dates and bookings, visit life-aftercancer.co.uk/events , though everyone is more than welcome to drop in on the day as well. These sessions are free of charge thanks to the support of the Waltham Forest Council.
